Dr. Joy Evans is a board-certified anesthesiologist and founder of Medela Amor, a medical practice in Columbus, OH dedicated to integrative wellness and aesthetic care. With over 15 years of experience in adult and pediatric anesthesiology, Dr. Evans brings a deep, hands-on understanding of the human body and a compassionate, relationship-based approach to healing. Dr. Evans earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Baylor University and her Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a prestigious pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Harvard University's Children's Hospital in Boston. Throughout her career, Dr. Evans has held numerous clinical, teaching, and leadership roles, including assistant professor at the University of Florida and Vice Chief of Anesthesiology at HCA Brandon Hospital for 8 years.. Her active medical licenses span several states, and she has presented nationally on complex pediatric and anesthesiology topics. Her expertise is grounded in academic excellence and years of real-world clinical experience.

I had the absolute best experience. this was my first time doing anything like this and they made it fun, enjoyable & all around a positive experience! from being greeted at the door to being checked out i felt like i was among friends and in good hands. the space was extremely hygienic as well. they were ready for me, set up & even got me out the door quicker than i anticipated. 10/10 will be back and excited to be!

Everyone there was very welcoming I came for a lip flip and left with a whole new skincare regimen that I cannot wait to try. The service didn’t hurt at all and the office was stunning I will be back for future services. They offer very nice packages as well for more savings. And the laser is painless 10/10 Recommend
I would recommend to absolutely everyone! Anyone wanting to get their skin to their standards and feel great while doing so, I would recommend Dr. Evans 10000%. She and her husband were absolutely AMAZING and very professional. I felt welcomed the minute I walked in to the office and from then forward I had the most amazing experience. Dr. Evans did a consult and discussed treatment options and explained everything thoroughly. She then completed a laser treatment for my face and then a lip flip and lip enhancement, I can’t say how thankful I am for the services. I can’t wait to continue my skin journey with them and receive future cosmetic services. Absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Go see Dr. Evans! You will NOT be disappointed!!
